Hi, I’m Sujatha Ganesan—founder of Ganesan Law. This firm began with a belief: that creators, entrepreneurs, and business owners deserve legal support that’s not just strategic, but deeply personal.
I don’t just register trademarks or draft contracts—I help you protect what you’ve built, navigate uncertainty, and grow with confidence.
My journey wasn’t linear. I arrived in the U.S. with two suitcases, a few dollars, and a dream to study law—backed by student loans and an unshakable entrepreneurial spirit. Before law school, I managed my father’s boutique while caring for him during cancer treatment and working jobs from hotel front desk, fast-food crew member to radio stations and laundromats.
I’ve worn many hats: immigrant, entrepreneur, mentor, author, speaker. Each experience shaped me—with resilience, empathy, and a deep respect for what it takes to build something from scratch.
I built and led a global product sales business, then launched an e-commerce jewelry brand—learning firsthand what it means to build a brand, serve customers, and safeguard your creative assets.
These experiences shaped how I practice law today: with strategy, creativity, and heart.
As a lawyer licensed in both California and India, with an LL.M. in Intellectual Property from Santa Clara University, I focus on trademarks, copyrights, contracts, and business law. I especially enjoy working with early-stage founders, creatives, and innovators.
At Ganesan Law, I don’t just offer legal services—I partner with you to understand your vision and protect what matters most. This is more than legal work. It’s personal. I’ve walked this path—and I’m here to walk it with you.
